    02

Style it: colours or a gradient, dot and corner shapes, your logo in the centre and a call to action below.

    Features

A QR code generator that does not lock your codes

    Static codes that never expire

The information goes straight into the code: no redirect through our servers, no scan limit and no subscription that switches your printed codes off later.

    Nine QR code types

Website links, plain text, Wi-Fi logins, contact cards (vCard), emails, text messages, phone calls and map locations, plus bulk mode for up to 500 codes at once.

    Your brand, still scannable

Pick colours or a gradient, rounded or dotted modules, custom corners and a centred logo. Error correction switches to High automatically, and live checks warn about low contrast, inverted colours or a logo that is too big.

    Print-ready files

PNG up to 4096 pixels with an optional transparent background, plus vector SVG and PDF that stay sharp on posters, menus and business cards. Everything is made in your browser.

How this QR code generator keeps your codes working

A QR code is printed once and scanned for years, so it should not depend on someone else's server. BestConverter creates static codes: what you type is encoded directly in the pattern, there is no short link in between, and the code keeps working without an account. The generator runs completely in your browser, so Wi-Fi passwords and contact details are not sent to a server while you make the code.

    What you can encode

    • Link: a website, menu, review page or social profile. https:// is added if you forget it.
    • Wi-Fi: guests join your network with one scan, with WPA, WEP or open networks and hidden SSIDs.
    • Contact (vCard): name, phones, email, company, address and website, ready to save on any phone.
    • Email, SMS and phone: open a pre-filled email or text message, or start a call.
    • Location: an address, exact coordinates or your current position, opened in the phone's maps app.
    • Text and bulk: any text, or a list of up to 500 codes downloaded together.

    Design without breaking the scan

Change the colours, add a gradient, choose square, rounded, dotted or classy modules and different corner shapes, put your logo in the centre and add a short call to action such as "Scan for the menu". The preview updates as you type and shows the QR version, the amount of data and simple checks for contrast, quiet zone, logo size and print size. Your last design is remembered in this browser for the next code.

    Tips for reliable scanning

    • Keep a dark code on a light background with strong contrast.
    • Leave the white border (quiet zone) around the code.
    • Short content makes a simpler code that scans faster and from further away.
    • Print it at least 2 cm wide, and larger for posters seen from a distance.
    FAQ

    Frequently asked questions

Do QR codes from this generator expire?

No. They are static QR codes: the link or text is stored in the code itself, so it keeps working for as long as the content (for example your website) exists. There is no tracking redirect and no account that can run out.

Can I put a logo in the middle of a QR code?

Yes. Open the Logo tab and choose an image, or drop or paste one onto the generator. Error correction is set to High (30%) automatically, the code grows a little if needed and, by default, the dots behind the logo are cleared. Keep the logo small: the checks warn when it covers too much of the code.

Should I download my QR code as PNG, SVG or PDF?

PNG is best for websites, documents and social media. SVG and PDF are vector files for print shops and design or layout software, because they stay sharp at any size. With a gradient, the PDF holds a high-resolution image instead.

How do I make a QR code for my Wi-Fi?

Choose Wi-Fi, enter the network name, the password and the security type. When someone scans the code with the iPhone camera or an Android phone (Android 10 or later), the phone offers to join the network without typing the password.

Why is my QR code not scanning?

The usual causes are low contrast, a light code on a dark background, a quiet zone (border) that is too small, a logo that is too big, or a code printed too small. The checks under the preview flag these problems. Always test-scan a code before you print it.

How do I generate QR codes in bulk?

Choose Bulk, paste up to 500 links or texts (one per line) and download them as a ZIP of PNG or SVG files, or as a single PDF with one code per page. They all use the design you set, and lines too long for a QR code are skipped.
