How BestConverter handles your data: files are processed on your device and never uploaded, which anonymous statistics we keep and how to use your GDPR rights.

1. The short version

Your files are processed on your own device, inside your browser. BestConverter does not receive, store or transmit the documents and images you work with.

2. What we collect

We collect anonymous usage statistics (page views, tool used, browser type, country) so we can see which tools are popular and fix errors. These statistics contain no file contents, file names or personal identifiers.

If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can answer you. If you subscribe to a “notify me” list, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe.

3. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to remember that you dismissed the cookie notice. Analytics are cookieless where possible. See the Cookie Policy.

4. Third-party services

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. When you use a tool that needs them, OCR language data, AI models for translation and transcription and the video engine are downloaded from public content delivery networks such as jsDelivr and Hugging Face. These providers may see your IP address but never your files.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what data we hold about you, request its deletion and object to processing. Email support@bestconverter.online.
