Features

More than a simple image merger

PDF, long image or collage

Put every image on its own PDF page, stitch them top to bottom or side by side, or arrange them in a grid with the number of columns you choose.

Live preview while you adjust

Spacing, outer border, rounded corners, background colour (or transparent), cell shape and crop update the preview instantly, with the exact output size in pixels.

iPhone photos just work

HEIC and HEIF photos are converted to JPEG automatically, and sideways phone photos you upload are straightened so their PDF pages come out upright.

Private and free

Your images are never uploaded: merging runs in your browser. No sign-up, no watermark, no daily limit.

Merge images online: one PDF, one long image or a collage

Merging images usually means one of two things: putting several photos into a single PDF to send or print, or joining them into one picture to share. BestConverter does both from the same upload. Pick One PDF to get one image per page, with page size Fit to image, A4 or Letter, optional margins, and drag-and-drop ordering. Pick One long image or Grid collage to stitch the pictures together and save them as PNG, JPG, WebP or a one-page PDF.

Typical uses

  • Combine scanned receipts, ID pages or homework photos into one PDF.
  • Stitch chat screenshots or a long web page captured in parts into one tall image.
  • Put product photos side by side for a comparison, or make a grid collage for social media.
  • Turn a set of iPhone HEIC photos into a single shareable file.

Layout options

Vertical and side-by-side layouts can scale every image to the same width (or height) so the edges line up, or keep the original sizes with left, centre or right alignment. Grids let you choose up to 10 columns (or Auto), a cell shape (like the photos, square, 4:3, 3:4, 16:9 or 9:16) and whether each image is shown whole or crops to fill its cell. Spacing, an outer border, rounded corners and the background colour are adjustable, and PNG or WebP can keep a transparent background.

Size and quality tips

The line under the preview shows the final width and height in pixels. Choose PNG for screenshots with text, and JPG or WebP when a smaller file matters more. For very large sets, the Maximum size option (longest side 8000, 4000, 2000 or 1080 px) keeps the result manageable on phones.

Private by design

All processing happens in your browser. Your photos are not uploaded, there is no account to create, and the result has no watermark.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I merge images into one picture instead of a PDF?

After uploading, choose "One long image" or "Grid collage". You can stack images vertically, place them side by side or build a grid, then save the result as PNG, JPG, WebP or a single-page PDF.

Can I merge HEIC photos from my iPhone?

Yes. HEIC and HEIF files are converted to JPEG in your browser before merging. If one photo cannot be decoded, the others are still merged and you are told which file was skipped.

How do I change the order of the images?

In the PDF workspace drag the pages into place. In the stitch and collage editor drag the thumbnails, use the arrow buttons on each one, or use Reverse and Sort A–Z.

Does merging images reduce their quality?

PDF pages keep your images at their original resolution (sideways phone photos are re-saved upright at high JPEG quality). For a stitched image you choose the format: PNG is lossless, JPG and WebP have a quality slider. Results are scaled down only when they exceed what your device can handle or the maximum size you pick, and the editor shows the final size before you save.

How many images can I merge at once?

There is no fixed limit, because nothing is uploaded. The practical limit is your device memory: phones handle smaller results than computers, so if a collage is too large, pick a smaller maximum size.

Is it safe to merge private photos online?

Yes. Conversion, stitching and PDF creation all run in your browser, so your photos stay on your device and are never sent to a server.
