Delete PDF Pages in 3 steps
Choose your PDF. It opens right in your browser and is never sent to a server.
Click the pages to remove, or type them (for example 2, 5-7, 10-last). Use quick picks for odd, even or blank pages.
Click Delete pages and download the new PDF, or convert it to Word, JPG and more.
Why delete PDF pages with BestConverter
Click or type, your choice
Select pages on a thumbnail map, Shift+click for a range, or type 3, 8-12, last, odd or even. Both stay in sync, and you always see how many pages will remain.
Finds blank pages for you
One click checks every page and selects the ones that look empty, such as scanner separator sheets. You review them before anything is deleted.
Nothing else changes
The remaining pages are not re-rendered or re-compressed: text stays selectable, images keep their quality, and metadata is preserved. Data used only by the deleted pages is dropped, so the file gets smaller.
Private and free
Everything happens in your browser. No upload, no account, no watermark, no daily limit. Keep a separate copy of the removed pages if you want a backup.
How to delete pages from PDF files without uploading them
Scanned contracts with empty back sides, reports with an outdated appendix, a long manual when you only need one chapter: deleting pages is the quickest way to make a PDF smaller and easier to share. BestConverter does it directly in your browser, so confidential documents never leave your computer or phone.
Three ways to choose pages
- Page map: every page is shown as a thumbnail. Click to select, Shift+click to select a range. Pages that will be deleted are crossed out, so you see the result before you save.
- Typed ranges: enter 1, 4-6, 20-last, odd or even. Mistakes are explained right away, for example when a page number is higher than the page count.
- Blank page finder: automatically selects pages that look empty, ideal for documents scanned in duplex mode.
Better than printing to a new PDF
Many people remove pages by printing the document again with a page range. That often turns text into images, breaks links and makes the file bigger. Here the original pages are kept untouched, document details such as the title and author are preserved, and data that only the deleted pages used is cleaned up so the new file is lighter.
Tips and limits
- Use "Keep only the selected pages" when you need just a few pages out of a long file.
- Turn on "Also save the removed pages as a separate PDF" if you might need them later. You then get both files in one ZIP.
- The tool works on one PDF at a time, and at least one page must stay in the document.
- After downloading, you can convert the trimmed PDF to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG or PNG from the same dialog, or open it in the PDF editor.

Frequently asked questions
How do I delete multiple pages from a PDF at once?
Type them separated by commas, for example 2, 5-7, 12. You can also click pages on the map and Shift+click to select a whole range. Words like first, last, odd and even work too, and 10- means page 10 to the end.
Can I keep only certain pages of a PDF and delete the rest?
Yes. Switch to "Keep only the selected pages", then choose the pages you want. Every other page is removed, which is the fastest way to cut a long document down to a few pages.
How do I delete blank pages from a scanned PDF?
Click "Find blank pages". Each page is rendered at low resolution on your device and pages with almost no ink are selected, including pages that carry only a page number. Check the selection before you delete, because a very faint page can be picked up as blank.
Will deleting pages reduce the quality of my PDF?
No. The pages you keep are copied as they are, without converting them to images, so text, links and image quality are unchanged. The file usually gets smaller because the deleted pages' content is removed.
Can I reorder or rotate pages too?
Yes. Click "Open page organizer" to get a full-screen view where you can drag pages into a new order, rotate them, add blank pages or insert more files, then save.
Can I delete pages from a password-protected PDF?
A PDF that needs a password to open has to be unlocked first with the Unlock PDF tool. Files that open without a password but carry editing restrictions are trimmed when possible; if one fails, unlock it first and try again.
