Features

A JPG to PDF converter that gets the details right

Phone photos come out upright

Phones often save portrait pictures sideways with a hidden rotation tag that PDF files ignore. BestConverter reads that tag and turns each photo upright, so no page ends up lying on its side.

Full control over every page

See every photo as a page. Drag to reorder, rotate one or all, duplicate, delete, insert a blank page, sort by name, preview full screen and undo any step.

Original quality, sensible layout

Upright JPGs go into the PDF byte for byte, with no re-compression. Choose pages the size of each photo, A4 or US Letter (landscape photos get landscape pages) and no, small or large margins.

Private, free, no limits

The PDF is built in your browser, so your photos never leave your device. No account, no watermark, no daily limit and no file size cap beyond your device memory.

Convert JPG to PDF online, the way you would do it by hand

Putting photos into a PDF sounds simple, but the details decide whether the result is usable: pages in the right order, nothing sideways, a sensible page size for printing and no loss of quality. BestConverter shows every photo as a page you can drag, rotate, duplicate or delete before you create the PDF, and builds the file right in your browser.

When people convert JPG to PDF

  • Sending photographed documents, receipts or forms as one file.
  • Submitting homework, assignments or ID pages to a portal that only accepts PDF.
  • Printing a set of photos on A4 or US Letter paper with even margins.
  • Archiving scans from a phone camera in a single, ordered document.

Page size and margins

Fit to image makes each page the shape of its photo, ideal for reading on screen. A4 and Letter are best for printing: each photo is centred and scaled to fit without cropping, and wide photos get a landscape page. Margins can be None, Small or Large. A blank page you insert takes the size of the page before it, which is handy for separating sections.

Upright pages, original quality

Phone cameras often save portrait shots sideways and rely on a hidden orientation tag. A PDF ignores that tag, which is why converted pages often appear rotated. BestConverter reads the tag and straightens those photos before building the PDF. JPG photos that are already upright are copied into the PDF unchanged, so their quality is exactly that of your original files.

Tips and limits

Use Sort to order pages by file name (A to Z, Z to A or reversed) when your camera numbers its shots. The PDF takes the name of the first photo you added. TIFF images are not supported, so save them as JPG first; empty or damaged files are skipped with a short note telling you which ones.

Private by design

There is nothing to install and no account to create. All work happens on your device, so even personal documents stay private, and the PDF has no watermark.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I combine several JPG images into one PDF?

Select all the photos at once (or drop them on the page), arrange them in the order you want, then click Create PDF. Each image becomes one page of a single PDF. You can add more photos later with the + buttons or "Add files".

Why is my JPG sideways after converting it to PDF?

Many phones store the picture sideways and add an EXIF orientation tag that tells viewers to rotate it. A PDF has no such tag, so copying the image as is gives a sideways page. BestConverter applies the tag first, so the page matches your gallery, and you can still rotate any page by hand.

Does converting JPG to PDF reduce image quality?

Not here. JPG photos that are already upright are embedded unchanged, so the PDF keeps every pixel. Photos that must be turned upright are redrawn once at high quality (92%), and on iPhone and iPad very large photos (above about 16 megapixels) are scaled down during that step so the browser can handle them.

How do I convert JPG to PDF in A4 size with margins?

In the bar above the pages choose A4 (or Letter) and a margin of Small or Large. Each photo is centred and scaled to fit without cropping, and wide photos get a landscape page.

Can I add PNG, HEIC or PDF files too?

Yes. PNG and WebP images are accepted, iPhone HEIC photos are converted to JPG on your device, and a PDF added with "Add files" after the pages open is included page by page. A file saved with the wrong extension, such as a PNG named .jpg, is recognised from its content.

Is it safe to convert JPG to PDF online here?

Yes. Reading, straightening and building the PDF all happen in your browser with JavaScript. Your photos are not sent anywhere, and closing the page discards them.
